Veterans Day 2005 Ceremony

TSC_8.jpg (13735 bytes) The flagstaff to the left of the Visitor Center at the Texas State Cemetery is the tallest in Texas. The single-star state flag flying from the staff was also the flag of the Republic of Texas.

TSC_17.jpg (36669 bytes) The Visitors Center at the Texas State Cemetery is made of Texas limestone. The design of the center resembles the long barracks at the Alamo and the granary at Mission San Jose.

TSC_10.jpg (26382 bytes) The seal is a part of the floor inside the entrance of the Visitors Center, and part of the Texas State Cemetery's restoration project, 1994-97. The seal's inclusion marked the successful completion of the project in 1997.
