Gussie Walton was a private first class in the United States Marine Corps. He served in Company F, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was killed in action on September 20, 1952. He was born on August 28, 1932. He is listed on the Italy Monument and the Ellis County Veterans Memorial.
