Forreston, Texas
Ted Tate was a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He and his instructor were killed in an airplane crash during training on July 12, 1952. He was born in Waxahachie. He was the son of Mr. Roger Tate of Nash, Texas. He graduated Waxahachie High School. He is buried in Forreston Cemetery. He is listed on the Forreston Monument and the Ellis County Veterans Memorial.
