Private First Class, United States Army; Entered the Army in March of 1943, and trained at Camp Callan, California, College of Mines, El Paso, Texas and Camp Barkeley, and served in Tank Division in the 7th Army in England, France and Germany; Died on April 1, 1945 in Germany; Son of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Raines of Waxahachie; Graduated Waxahachie High School; Listed on Waxahachie Daily Light Honor Roll.
