Pierce Park Dedication

The color guard forms an impressive frame for the principal speaker at the dedicatory services. Lt. Col. Joseph W. Kean, Jr., commanding officer of the Marine Air Detachment, Dallas, is seen delivering his inspiring address before the vast throng which filled the street in front of the speakers' platform.
