Pierce Park Dedication

More than two thousand persons were present at Ennis to witness the dedication of memorial monument to the nine Dallas Division Southern Pacific employes who gave their lives during World War II. The two block long area, which was named Pierce Park, will be beautiful as an appropriate setting for the handsome monument. In the background is the Southern Pacific passenger station. The park area faces Main Street in the heart of downtown Ennis.
