I have been unable to locate a suitable write-up of the game. In 1941 the Mexia newspaper was a weekly, and briefly mentioned the game. The newspaper archives of the Ennis Daily News were destroyed in a fire, and the microfilm archives start at about 1953. Will update as soon as a write-up of the game is located.
