Biography of Thomas Eugene Kinsala
Ferris, Texas
Thomas Kinsala was a private in the United States Army. He joined the Army in about 1913. He completed his first enlistment of four years, and reenlisted for World War I. He served in the Coast Artillery in California in Company F, 21st Infantry, and received a medal as an expert gunner. He was accidentally killed while at Camp John Beacon in California on November 16, 1917.
He was the son of Mrs. N. C. Kinsala of Ferris. He is listed on the Ellis County Veterans Memorial.
