Biography of Charles Frazier
Ennis, Texas
Charles Frazier was a corporal in the U.S. Army. He entered the Army in 1942, and trained in Louisiana, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. He served in Headquarters of 703rd Tank Destroyer Battalion with Patton's Army in England, France, Belgium and Germany. He died on January 13, 1945 in Germany.
Charles was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Frazier of Ennis. He graduated Ennis High School. He is buried in Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis.
He was awarded the Good Conduct Ribbon, Purple Heart Medal and Presidential Citation.
He is listed on the Memorial Monument to Ennis War Dead and the Ellis County Veterans Memorial.
