Biography of Samuel David Dillard

Midlothian, Texas
Samuel Dillard was a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He died on January 22, 1944 in an airplane crash in Brazil.
Samuel was the son of Annie Pearl and Roy McTeer Dillard. He was born on March 31, 1920. He was reared in Midlothian, and graduated Midlothian High School. A cenotaph was erected in his honor at Midlothian Cemetery where his parents are buried. He is listed on the Ellis County Veterans Memorial.
