Biography of Patrick Dillard

Midlothian, Texas
Patrick Dillard was a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was an aerial gunner with the 785th Bomber Squadron, 466th Bomber Group stationed at Attlebridge Air Base, England. He was shot down over Germany and believed to have died on April 5, 1945.
Patrick was the son of Annie Pearl and Roy McTeer Dillard. He was born on August 15, 1925. He was reared and attended school in Midlothian. A cenotaph was erected in his honor at Midlothian Cemetery where his parents are buried. He is listed on the Ellis County Veterans Memorial.
