U.S. Marine Corps' Color Guard 

Near the north end of the elaborately decorated platform between the gangway and band tent, the posting of colors by the U.S. Marine Corps Color Guard from Boston, Massachusetts commenced at 11:30 a.m. The Northeastern Navy Band under the direction of Chief Petty Officer M. J. King performed the National Anthem.
