Private, United States Army; Entered the Army in 1940, and trained in Texas, and served in the Philippines and Java; Taken prisoner on Java by the Japanese; Died on February 28, 1944 in a Japanese prison camp; Son of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Collins of Palmer.
