Private First Class, United States Army; Entered the Army in February of 1941, and trained in Texas and Florida, and served in Africa and Italy, participated in the invasion of Salerno; Died on December 15, 1943 in the Battle for Cassino; Buried in Italy; Awarded the Good Conduct Ribbon, the Silver Star and Purple Heart Medals and European Theater of Operation Ribbon.
