Private, United States Army; Entered the Army in 1942, and trained in Camp Wallace, and served in South America, France and Germany, fighting on the Siegfried line; Died on November 27, 1944 in Germany; Son of Mrs. Dollie M. Baxter of Ferris; Awarded Good Conduct Ribbon and Purple Heart Medal and Battle Stars.
