Biography of Emory Dunham Barton

Waxahachie, Texas
Emory Barton was a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He died on October 31, 1942 in an airplane crash in the Florida everglades while on a four-hour training flight.
Emory was the son of W. H. Barton of Waxahachie. He is listed on the Waxahachie Daily Light Honor Roll and the Ellis County Veterans Memorial.
