Biography of Robert Dean Alsup

Midlothian, Texas
Robert Alsup was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He landed on Iwo Jima, and was killed there on February 24, 1945. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Osie E. Alsup. He attended school in Waxahachie, and graduated Midlothian High School. He is listed on the Waxahachie Daily Light Honor Roll and the Ellis County Veterans Memorial.
