Captain, United States Army Air Corps; Served on Tinian as pilot of a B-29 bomber completing 16 missions over Japan; Died in El Paso, Texas on November 25, 1945 as a result of injuries suffered in a routine training exercise; Memorial service held at Rudolph Funeral Home with burial in Waxahachie City Cemetery; Son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Abbott.
